i like going on little field trips. Especially when its doing thingies ive never done before.

tada! I finished the wooden panel painting of a fish swimming over coral for leigh.

it was a long process but i am glad i finished this painting. it is a fish with a long tail similar to a mermaid. he is swimming over coral. It is very peaceful and relaxing.

we went to oktoberfest at jug tavern park. It was so fun!

i saw a pink police cop car. Also willy wonka was walking around making everybody laugh. 

 

it was also the first time i ate a philly cheese dog. i got it from love at wurst sight. i also ate a unicorn cone from sweet chimney bakery.  all the food was delicious.

we went to an art event at charis bookstore. I love this bookstore so super much.

apparantely, once a month charis books & more has an art event where queer and disabled artists come together to create their own art. I luv being around other queer people and artists in general. I havent been around other artists in such a long time.

 

i did an ink and watercolor drawing of a violin surrounded by eyes and wings. it has a lotta abstract shapes going on. I like how surreal it looks.

the best thing about fall? Corn mazes and hayrides!

after the fun arting at charis, we went to pharr farms. they are ready for halloween because their whole farm is decorated with handmade halloween stuff. It was so cool.

 

i havent been on a hayride in years. I truly enjoyed zieself. the farm is really big.

 

afterwards, we went through a corn maze. it was nice seeing corn in their stalks. reminds me of the corn painting i made a few years ago. There was a scavenger hunt within the maze; it was fun hunting for the different items.

 

we ate boiled peanuts afterwards. it was my first time trying them. they tasted so good!

after going through a lot of “ugly” stages, i finalmente finished the wooden panel painting. i think its bonita. What do yall think?
